Information You Enter
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. The project does not retain a copy of that query on its own servers. If you send a message, the mailbox receives the details you choose to include and uses them to answer.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, viewed paths, and timestamps. Those details can be reviewed in aggregate for site health and traffic patterns. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, when present, advertising measurement.
How the Data Is Used
Technical data helps operate the pages, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve the reference. Visitor lists are not sold, and the project does not build an individual user profile from ordinary browsing.
External Portals and Links
Pages link to Colorado and Arapahoe County portals, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. Once a link is followed, that provider's privacy policy governs the information submitted there. Sponsored results are supplied by a separate company and are subject to its own terms.
Possible Recipients
Hosting and technical providers may process routine server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above where those tools are enabled. Disclosure may also occur when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, the project does not intentionally disclose a visitor's message or log data.
Security and Retention
The pages use an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for the operational purposes described above and for as long as those purposes require. Since the service has no user accounts, it does not store a password or account profile for a visitor.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information, use the Contact page so the message can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Your Colorado Privacy Choices
Colorado's Colorado Privacy Act, C.R.S. §6-1-1301 et seq., can provide qualifying consumers rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing by covered controllers. Those rights concern data held by the controller and do not turn a public-record custodian into a general people-search service. Public-record access follows the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-200.1 through 205, while criminal-justice records follow C.R.S. §§24-72-301 through 309 and source-specific limits. Because this reference keeps little visitor data, a request usually concerns the contact mailbox or technical logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Colorado, Arapahoe County, or Littleton remain with their custodians; a removal question belongs with the office that maintains the record.
Policy Changes
A revised policy takes effect when posted here. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
